With the end of 2019 upon us, I've been doing a lot of reflecting and thinking about how I want to engage with the online book community in 2020. I set this blog aside in favor of YouTube a couple years ago, but I have always missed it

Writing is something that I've always felt I'm pretty good at. I find that I express myself better in written form as opposed to speaking. The ability to edit and shape my message before hitting send is a comfort to my social anxiety. There's also no concern or shame about talking too fast!

All in all, I still love making YouTube videos and interacting in that way, so I plan to continue doing so (and revamp my game) in 2020, but I want to make this blog a focus again.

So without further ado, my first post of the newly reincarnated EM LIKES BOOKS, 2019 as told by the stories I read. I originally was thinking about writing up a little blurb for each book, but after like 3 books realized that would take way! too! long!
